Background
Perform a cluster restore with Point in Time Restore (also called, PITR).
The newly restored cluster is stuck at 87% and its status is Setting up primary.
Cause
The selected time in PITR is after the last transaction commit time. We also can say the cluster has been idle since the selected time. So a fully restored cluster will be the same as PITR at the selected time.
Solution
- Go to EDB Postgres AI console
- Delete the cluster that was stuck
- Restore a cluster with the Fully Restore option
